Wholesale Sports Outdoor Outfitters Improves Online Shopping Experience with hybris
MUNICH & CHICAGO – 23 June 2015: hybris software, an SAP company, today announced that Wholesale Sports Outdoor Outfitters (WSOO), a subsidiary of UFA, has implemented hybris B2C Commerce to improve the online shopping experience for its customers.
A multichannel retailer dedicated to the sportsmen and women who are passionate about the outdoors, WSOO sought to enhance its e-commerce capabilities to increase visitor traffic, conversations, completed orders and customer loyalty, while decreasing shopping cart abandonment. Its existing website was out of date, making it difficult for customers to navigate the retailer’s complex catalogue.
WSOO also recognized the opportunity to expand its reach through its e-commerce presence to deliver dynamic content to specific customer segments nationwide, as its 13 brick and mortar stores are limited to consumers in western Canada. To meet these objectives and enhance navigation, personalization, search and the overall user interface of its website, WSOO turned to hybris.

Since WSOO’s new e-commerce site went live in January 2015, the retailer has already experienced a 27 percent jump in year-over-year conversions as well as a 35 percent increase in year-over-year transactions. With hybris, WSOO continues to roll out new enhanced functionality each month with a focus on personalization.

To meet an aggressive timeline for the hybris implementation, WSOO worked with Thinkwrap Commerce as an integration partner and Cult Collective on the branding and digital side. SAP Process Orchestration, which WSOO already had in place, was used to orchestrate all back-end integrations.
