Migration Manager (m/f)

The hybris suite supports a number of sales and marketing channels including eCommerce, mobile, Call Center, and Print Publications.

As Migration Manager you will manage the migration team within Professional Services taking overall responsibility for generating migration opportunities, delivering successful migrations and ensuring profitability of all migration services delivered.
Travel up 50% European-wide or occasionally worldwide.
  • Your Responsibilities
    • Keeping track of all active hybris customers and their platform versions
    • Working with Service Delivery Managers and Sales to understand migration plans of customers and to define how migration projects are presented to customers
    • Managing the migration project pipeline
    • Project managing migration analysis and migration projects, including managing communications with customers, partners and other third parties involved in migration projects
    • Working with R&D migration team to understand migration paths for current and future releases
    • Working with Product Management team to understand product roadmap and future migration implications
    • Working with Support team to manage migration related issues and support contracts for EOL customer
    • Managing, forecasting and reporting team financial performance
    • Managing budget, costs and expenses and resource planning
    • Managing contracts and the team work environment
  • Your Qualifications
    • University degree (computer sciences or similar), comparable education or adequate job experience
    • Very good experience in a technical/software environment
    • Previous experience in a team lead / project management position within a Professional Services environment
    • Very good customer facing experience, preferably working with business users
    • Experience of working in international projects
    • Excellent English (verbally and written), German or Polish skills as an additional asset
    • Willingness to significant travelling to partners & customers in Europe, occasionally worldwide
    • Good communication skills, open personality with the ability to fit into the team, strong desire to learn
