Consumers now hold the power in the relationship, thanks to the digital economy. They can access information from multiple sources when researching a purchase, from online forums, social media and reviews. As a result, consumers have much higher expectations of what they want brands to deliver.
That’s why SAP Hybris commissioned a survey of over 7,000 consumers across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region in March 2017: to better understand what consumers look for when engaging with brands. Questions were asked across a wide subset of ages and nationalities in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Japan, South Korea, and China.
