Web Developer (Project Delivery)

A Web Developer is primarily responsible for implementing the frontend layer for the web application and integrating into the backend. You will work on and design layout files. You will collaborate with customers, business analysts and design agencies on the user interface design. You will make use of appropriate tools and frameworks. This is a technical role that requires attention to detail and advanced communication skills. For more experienced professionals we can also offer a senior role.

Your Responsibilities

    The key responsibilities of this role are the following:

  • Implementing frontend layer for web applications
  • Integration of frontend layer to backend application
  • Taking part in customer-facing activities, mostly remotely although possibility of occasional travel a few times per year
  • Strong focus on high-quality throughout the entire development process
  • Working on layout files (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Participating in user interface design for customer projects
  • Working with controllers in MVC scheme
  • Conducting code reviews for frontend related tasks
  • Implementing CMS structure of the application
  • Implementing cockpit configurations - Product Cockpit, CMS
  • Preparing CMS test data for QA - HTML's and CMS elements

Your Qualifications

    Ideal candidates for this role will have the following:

  • Computer Science or related degree
  • 2+ years’ experience developing web-based applications
  • Strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS skills
  • Experience with JQuery and Ajax
  • Good knowledge and understanding of any object oriented language (for example Java, PHP, Ruby, etc)
  • Ability to work as part of a self-organising team
  • Strong verbal and written English

    Any of the following would be an advantage but not required:

  • Experience (or strong interest) in agile methods such as Scrum/XP
  • Experience with mobile web application development
  • Experience in Java
  • Experience of eCommerce projects
