hybris, a global leader in multichannel commerce solutions, announced today that Rainer Wellige, Vice President of Solution Engineering at hybris, will be speaking during the eTail West 2012 conference that takes place at the JW Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Springs, California from February 27- March 1. hybris will also be an event exhibitor.
Launched in 1999, eTail West is the premier online and multichannel retail conference dedicated to supporting the growth of the retail industry through high-level networking and extensive thought leadership. Last year’s event had nearly 1,000 retailers in attendance, and the 2012 conference will feature more than 115 retail, manufacturer and brand speakers who will provide actionable takeaways in every session.
Wellige will speak about best practices for creating a global commerce platform, highlighting strategies for content management, transactional capabilities, multilingual support, and market analysis. Although international markets are a tempting target for today’s multichannel retailers, a successful eCommerce platform launch will require careful planning and strategic decision-making.
