Participants from hybris’ Global Partner Ecosystem converge to gain exclusive insight to the best omni-channel commerce expertise and cutting-edge innovation
hybris software, an SAP company and the world’s fastest-growing commerce platform provider, has revealed that a record 1,500 worldwide delegates from its Partner Ecosystem attended this year’s Global Partner Summit 2014, which took place in Munich, Germany, on 22nd – 24th January. During the three-day event, participants from the 350 companies within hybris’ Global Partner Ecosystem, future partners and interested SAP partners came together to gain exclusive insight to the best omni-channel commerce expertise and cutting-edge innovation. Through an agenda of executive presentations, technical demonstrations and a highly personalised program, hybris equipped delegates with ground-breaking ideas and perspectives to enable them to scale up and grow an even more successful business and take full advantage of new commercial opportunities in 2014 and beyond.

Over the past year hybris has streamlined its Global Partner Ecosystem in order to drive even higher levels of quality for its customers. At this year’s summit the company introduced a new Partner Program and Customer Engagement Model to deliver elevated value to partners and customers across the spectrum of industries in which it operates, including retail, consumer manufacturing, media, telco, sports and entertainment.
“We now have a staggering 7,500 individuals who are active around our hybris technology on a daily basis and we are looking to extend this ecosystem to 15,000 in the next 18 months,” explained Schoutissen. “The incredible numbers of attendees at this years’ summit – almost double that of last year – clearly demonstrates the commitment our partners have to hybris and delivering the highest quality solutions to our customers.”
Guest speakers at the event included Peter Sheldon, Principal Analyst at Forrester, Jim Herbert, Founding Director of Sceneric, Geert Leeman, Global Account Executive Nestlé Alliance at SAP, and Darin Archer, Principal Product Marketing Manager, Commerce, at Adobe. Presenting alongside hybris experts, they participated in the Business, Technology and Delivery tracks which provided delegates with specific product updates, best practice, case study, and business relevant information vital to maximizing the success of future opportunities.
