hybris software Launches World’s First Joint Support Centre with SAP in Shanghai

Expanding its existing global support presence with the first of many teams of experts to sustain joint hybris/SAP customer needs

 

hybris software, an SAP company and the world’s fastest-growing commerce platform provider, today announced that it is extending its global support presence with the launch of the first combined hybris/SAP support center in Shanghai, China. With hybris and SAP engineers situated in the same office together for the first time, the new support center will not only support customers’ needs in the local Chinese market, but it will also be an integral part of hybris’ global 24x7 customer support center network, servicing requests for assistance throughout the world.

“China is a rapidly expanding market for us and we anticipate seeing a marked increase in the number of joint SAP and hybris customers in the region,” said Burghardt Groeber, Vice President Asia at hybris. “To address their needs properly, it is essential to have a truly integrated support team based in the same office for the region. These talented individuals, with a mix of technical experience, education and multi-lingual abilities, will also be part of our highly efficient and constantly connected global customer support service.”

 

As part of the overall Active Global Support (AGS) group within SAP, the engineers in this new team will have a natural connection with their SAP colleagues and are all experienced in SAP HANA technology. hybris support technicians also possess a culture deeply founded in the practice of data exchange. All are connected 365/24/7 across the world via a series of remote collaboration tools including their own engineering chat room and through a series of regular video conferences, virtual presence rooms and weekly seminars.

Burghardt Groeber continued, “the opening of this joint hybris/SAP support centre is a major step in enhancing our mutual commitment to our local Chinese customer base. Both organizations are completely aligned as to the importance of the region and are investing heavily in this strategic market.”

 

The next hybris/SAP support center due to be opened will be based in Dublin, Ireland, in the first quarter of 2014 and others - including San Paolo, Brazil - will follow throughout the year.
