FREITAG is the big winner at Swiss E-Commerce Awards

hybris solution helps Swiss bag manufacturer to win three of the coveted awards

On May 9, 2012, a jury consisting of ten of the most renowned e-commerce experts presented the first Swiss E-Commerce Awards at the web business trade fair ONE in Zurich. With nearly 100 applications in ten categories such as Mobile Commerce and Visual Effects, the winner's name a whopping three times was: FREITAG lab. ag. The success of FREITAG's online shops is based on the multichannel solutions delivered by hybris.

FREITAG secured the trophies in the categories "Visual Effects", "B2C Online Shops Medium", and the prestigious "Swiss E-Commerce Champion". According to the jurors, features such as 360 degree view, visualising every product in detail, as well as informational videos on how to use the products, elegantly bridge the distance between product and customer.

In order to seamlessly integrate all of these functions, www.freitag.ch has been based since its relaunch last year on the hybris platform Product Content Management (PCM) as well as on the hybris Multichannel Accelerator - which enabled implementation in just three months. The hybris Platinum Partner Namics made sure successful implementation was a given. This long-term multichannel strategy not only makes for a consistent shopping experience but also ensures the shop can be converted for other channels such as mobile telephones.
