Our technologies will be complementary - with minimal overlap in product - enabling you to offer your clients even more powerful solutions to optimize and grow their businesses, whether or not they are an SAP customer. By linking SAP’s industry-leading enterprise applications with hybris’ agile commerce and data management solutions, we will provide opportunities for you to deliver the enhanced data and tools necessary for your clients to grow their businesses profitably on top of strong, loyal, and differentiated customer relationships.
Between now and when the acquisition closes, hybris will continue to support you in the normal fashion. Your existing contracts remain in effect, your account relationships and support infrastructure remain unchanged, and your hybris sales and technical services team will continue to support you as they do today.
After the acquisition closes, hybris will operate as an independent business unit within SAP, where we will continue to develop our industry-leading technology, product roadmap and go-to-market strategy on behalf of hybris’ existing and future customers and our new SAP customers. hybris will maintain a high degree of autonomy in its operations and our existing management team will remain in place. For you, as a hybris partner, this means continuity and an even stronger partner to support your business. You will continue to have access to the people, technology and expert resources you’ve come to know and trust at hybris, while also having the opportunity to benefit from SAP’s substantial marketing resources and global reach, both in established and fast-growing new markets and verticals.
Pending regulatory approvals, the acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013. Between now and the close of the transaction, hybris and SAP will continue to operate as separate companies.
