SAP Hybris Recognized as eCommerce Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan

SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that it received the 2016 eCommerce Enterprise Software Company of the Year Award from leading independent market research firm Frost & Sullivan. The SAP Hybris Commerce cloud and on-premise options, for both B2B and B2C companies, advance the way companies engage with customers while simplifying their technology landscape. SAP Hybris’ Commerce platform was named a leader by Frost & Sullivan for its robust omnichannel capabilities, customizability, and accelerated deployments.

The eCommerce Company of the Year Award goes to an enterprise that is able to deliver visionary innovation in conjunction with performance and customer impact that is typically exemplified by superior performance in demand generation, brand development, and competitive positioning.

According to Martin Hoff ter Heide, lead consultant of integrated commerce, digital transformation, EIA at Frost & Sullivan, “SAP Hybris has succeeded in architecting an eCommerce platform for B2B and B2C that brings enhanced integration of commerce with other front office cornerstones of customer engagement, including marketing, sales, and billing.” Unifying data across functions and departments enables businesses to have a consistent view of products, customers, and orders, which is critical to providing an omnichannel experience.

Hoff ter Heide also commented on SAP Hybris’ new commerce capabilities that push the solution to the top of eCommerce platform space. Specifically, he stated that “the most recent improvements in SAP Hybris Commerce make the solution increasingly a ‘must’ on vendor selection short lists, especially for large-scale and most demanding eCommerce requirements.”

The latest release contains the SAP Hybris Customer Experience solution and a promotion engine, empowering marketers to quickly execute strategies without IT help. The solution offers accelerated deployment whether on premise, in a private cloud, or through software as a service with preconfigured solutions for B2B and B2C in specific regions and industries.
