Expectations and Tasks
  • Being a line manager for 3 teams working on the Platform and MDM products
  • Help to establish and maintain a mission and a purpose for the teams
  • Continuously assist in collaboration between the teams in the same product line and among product lines
  • Being a servant leader who enables his organization to succeed, without micro-managing it
  • Work with Product Leads, Product Owners and other stakeholders to help assure strategy and organizational goals
  • Assist Release Manager with release related topics and activities
  • Actively coach teams' members to advance their technical, functional and team skills
  • Participate in defining and administering budget, compensation and benefits
  • Supporting SCRUM teams in their adoption of the Agile practices
  • Supporting career growth of all the direct reports, working with the training facilities to organize adequate trainings for them
  • Recruiting new team members, actively participating in the recruitment process, adjusting the process to the specific team needs
  • Leading team meetings and individual 1:1 meetings to ensure proper communication within the team and with particular individuals
  • Ensuring non-functional requirements for the owned products are adequately prioritized and fulfilled
  • Representing the teams on the department level, being a point of contact for them and a bridge between them and the senior management
  • Acting as an escalation point for the teams
  • Connecting the teams and the local site leadership team
  • Supporting team members in addressing administrative issues
  • Working on the site level to help run the office and create the environment that is appreciated by the employees
  • Promoting the hybris brand on the local job market by being a hybris ambassador who participates actively in the local events

Education and Qualification / Skills and Cometencies / Work Experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with full software development life cycle from design through implementation to maintenance
  • Proven experience and very good understanding of Lean and Agile software development methodologies
  • Extended soft skills and solid managerial skills
  • Very good understanding of different automation aspects in software development
  • Experience with recruitment and team building
  • Experience in leadership
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a self-organizing team
  • Very good verbal and written English
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work and contribute to a collaborative working culture
  • Open-minded personality
