hybris, a leading multichannel commerce software vendor, today announced that Benefit Cosmetics, the San Francisco-based beauty brand, has launched a new US website running on the hybris eCommerce platform. Since the website’s launch less than one month ago, Benefit has realized its two biggest selling days in its history, supported effectively by the hybris platform.
Benefit is a global prestige makeup brand that creates high quality color cosmetics, fragrance & skincare products with a sense of humor. The company’s unique approach to beauty focuses on providing creative beauty solutions with a brand motto that declares “laughter is the best cosmetic.” Benefit products are available around the world, online, at leading beauty retailers & department stores, as well as throughout the company’s own flagship boutiques.
Benefit decided to redesign and re-platform its global ecommerce sites with the dual objectives of growing sales globally and improving site conversion. After a rigorous audit, Benefit selected the hybris eCommerce platform to help the company achieve these goals. Both the platform’s flexibility and its localization functionality were driving reasons for the selection, among others. And with the recent achievement of record online sales for the company in the US, Benefit is looking forward to leveraging the hybris eCommerce platform for business in other countries.
