The whole hybris product portfolio is benefitting of the wide range of enhancements and functional extensions included in release 3.1. The hybris Commerce Suite is now supporting state-of-the-art Web 2.0 features out-of-the-box and the hybris PIM Suite allows channel neutral management of all Media types by means of tightly integrated Media Asset Management capabilities. The completely new hybris Print Suite however is the center piece of the 3.1 release. Leveraging the experience gained in carefully selected customer projects we developed a product representing a quantum leap in terms of usability, flexibility and automation of creating print publications either directly as Web2Print or using a bi-directional interface to Adobe® InDesign® and InDesign® Server.

Of all the new hybris enhancements the new Print Suite deserves the main attention. With the new intuitive user interface all types of print publications can be created with a few clicks in the browser. Afterwards they are automatically transferred to Adobe® InDesign® CS2/CS3. Pre-defined grids allow the flexible placement of products and content enabling a 1:1 match with the customer's requirements. The placements are then filled with content from the hybris platform by simply dragging products, attributes, selected categories or whole catalogues into the defined grids.
With the new table editor it is possible to create all types of tables in a publication, even with the most complex layouts. The support of the Adobe® InDesign® Servers combined with hybris` granular security rights and roles management provides you with ideal environment to work efficiently as a team on publications. Additional options include the simple swapping of languages, the possibility of changes even seconds before the final print as well as changes on selected items directly out of Adobe® InDesign®. With the new Media Asset Management integration you can fully and effectively manage media objects, possibly for the use in print or online systems. The data can be automatically converted into the desired output format, without the need of several media files - you only have to store it once. The solution supports more than 100 data formats, allows PIN-downloads and water marks, the definition of user rights as well as an integration with Adobe® InDesign®, Photoshop® and Microsoft Office. hybris MAM enables yout to streamline your media management processes by up to 90%.
